The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 And grieve thou not over them nor be straitened because of that which they plot. 70 And they ask: 'When will this promise come, if what you say is true' 71 Say, "Perhaps some of the things which you wish to experience immediately are very close to you." 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal. 74 And there is nothing concealed in the heaven and the earth but it is in a clear book. 75 Surely this Quran declares to the children of Israel most of what they differ in. 76 And indeed it is a guidance and a mercy for the Muslims. 77 Your Lord will judge among them according to His own decree. He is Majestic and All-Knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; you are indeed upon the clear Truth. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs. 82
