The unbelievers say: 'When we and our fathers are turned to dust, shall we be brought forth? 67 Indeed, we were promised this - we and our forefathers - in the past as well; it is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 68 Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of the sinners.' 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?" 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 There is nothing of the hidden in the heavens and the earth that is not recorded in the luminous Book. 75 Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. 76 It is a guidance and grace for those who believe. 77 And verily thine Lord shall decide between them with His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing. 78 So put your trust in Allah; surely, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on manifest truth. 79 Verily, you cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. benefit them and similarly the disbelievers), nor can you make the deaf to hear the call, when they flee, turning their backs. 80 Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to bear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
