۞ O men! It is you who stand in need of God -- God is self-sufficient, and praiseworthy -- 15 He can put you away, if He will, and bring a new creation 16 And this is not hard to Allah. 17 No laden soul shall bear another's load. If one is heavy burdened and calls for his load to be carried, nothing of it will be carried, not even if he is a close relative. You warn only those who fear their Lord in the Unseen, and establish the prayer. He who purifies himself, purifies himself for the good of his own soul. To Allah is the arrival. 18 Not alike are the blind and the seeing. 19 Nor darkness and light, 20 Nor are the shade and the heat, 21 Nor are (alike) the living (believers) and the dead (disbelievers). Verily, Allah makes whom He will hear, but you cannot make hear those who are in graves. 22 thou art nothing but a warner. 23 Verily! We have sent you with the truth, a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner. And there never was a nation but a warner had passed among them. 24 And if they give thee the lie - even so gave the lie to the truth [many of] those who lived before their time, [when] there came unto them their apostles with all evidence of the truth, and with books of divine wisdom, and with light-giving revelation; 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved. So how terrible was My disapproval! 26
