Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
