۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
