The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of whatever lies between the two, the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan. 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn. 12 And heed not when they are reminded, 13 When they are shown a sign, they scoff at it 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible." 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21
