3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 We rescued him and his people from the greatest affliction 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 78 Peace and salutation to Nuh among the nations. 79 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 80 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ Abraham was one of his followers. 83 When he came to his Lord with a heart compliant, 84 Behold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 "Then what do you think about the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)?" 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars (to deceive them), 88 and he said, 'Surely I am sick.' 89 But they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 He turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What is the matter with you, why do you not speak?” 92 And then he fell upon them, smiting them with his right hand. 93 Thereupon the people came running to him. 94 He said, 'Do you serve what you hew, 95 "But Allah has created you and your handwork!" 96 They said, "Let us build a fire and throw him into the flames". 97 But whereas they sought to do evil unto him, We [frustrated their designs, and thus] brought them low? 98 And he said (after his rescue from the fire): "Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!" 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son.” 100 We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son. 101 And [one day,] when [the child] had become old enough to share in his [father's] endeavours, the latter said: "O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice thee: consider, then, what would be thy view!" [Ishmael] answered: "O my father! Do as thou art bidden: thou wilt find me, if God so wills, among those who are patient in adversity!" 102 Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering); 103 We cried unto him: O Ibrahim 104 Of a surety thou hast fulfilled the vision. Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 108 Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 109 Verily We! thus We compense the well-doers. 110 He was one of Our believing worshipers. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 And We sent blessings upon him and Ishaq; and among their descendants some who do good deeds, and some who clearly wrong themselves. 113
