The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
