The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
