THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
