The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
