Shattering (Al-Infitaar)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 when the seas swarm over, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 to burn therein. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19

God the Almighty always says the truth.
