(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
