Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 Indeed your Lord only will raise them all on the Day of Resurrection; indeed only He is Wise, All Knowing. 25
