The disbelievers say, "Do not listen to this Quran but make a lot of unnecessary noise while it is being read so that perhaps you will defeat it". 26 We will let the unbelievers taste a terrible punishment, and recompense them with the worst of what they were doing. 27 That is the meed of the enemies of Allah: the Fire. Therein is their home of abidance: a meed forasmuch as Our revelations they were wont to gainsay. 28 And those who disbelieve will say: our Lord! show us those, of the jinn and mankind, who led us astray and we will place them underneath our feet that they may be of the nethermost. 29 As for those who affirm, "Our Lord is God," and then remain steadfast, the angels will descend on them, saying, "Have no fear and do not grieve. Rejoice in the [good news of the] Garden that you have been promised. 30 We are close unto you in the life of this world and [will be so] in the life to come; and in that [life to come] you shall have all that your souls may desire, and in it you shall have all that you ever prayed for, 31 "An entertainment from (Allah), the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." 32
