O dear Prophet, did you not see your Lord, how He spread the shade? And if He willed, He could have made it still; then We made the sun a proof upon it. 45 then (as the sun climbs up), We roll it up little by little towards Ourselves. 46 It is He who has made the night as a covering for you, sleep as a rest for you, and the day for you to rise again. 47 And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy, and We send down from the sky pure water 48 so that He may revive the dead land, and quench the thirst of many of His creatures from among beasts and men. 49 And We set it forth among them, that they may be admonished, but most men begrudge aught save infidelity. 50 Had We willed, We would have raised up a separate Warner in each habitation. 51 So do not listen to unbelievers, and strive against them with greater effort. 52 ۞ And it is He who has released [simultaneously] the two seas, one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition. 53 And it is He, Who created man from water: then from him He caused two kinds of kindred, by blood and by marriage: your Lord is AI I-Powerful. 54 They worship besides God things that can neither benefit nor harm them. The unbelievers are defiant against their Lord. 55 And We have not sent you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) except as a Herald of glad tidings and warnings. 56 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this except that anyone who so wishes should take the right path to his Lord." 57 Also trust in the Living One who never dies and glorify Him with His praise. He has sufficient knowledge of the sins of His servants. 58 (It is) He who, in six days created the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and then He willed to the Throne. The Merciful; ask about Him from he who knows Him. 59 When you say to them: "Bow before Ar-Rahman," they say: "What is Ar-Rahman? Should we adore whoever you ask us to?" And their aversion increases further. ۩ 60
