HAST THOU, then, ever considered him who turns away [from remembering Us, and cares for no more than the life of this world,] 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
