The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the rangers ranging 1 and the drivers driving, 2 And those who recite the message, 3 Verily your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – and the Lord of the sun’s rising points. 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 But if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he shall be pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them if they are more difficult to create, or the rest We have created? Indeed (man) We created from fermented clay. 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 And heed not when they are reminded, 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" 15 Why - after we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 16 And so also shall our forefathers of yore be raised to life?” 17 Tell them: “Yes; and you are utterly helpless (against Allah).” 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 And say: "Ah woe! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
