To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 Most certainly their gatherings shall be routed, and they will turn their backs. 45 In fact, the Hour of Doom is the time for them to suffer. The suffering of this hour is the most calamitous and the most bitter (of all suffering). 46 Lo! the guilty are in error and madness. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 Every thing that they have done is in the Scrolls, 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
