۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
