Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 until you go down to your graves. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire! 6 Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure. 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
