But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And what ye see not, 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he had forged concerning us some discourses. 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 Then none among you would be his saviour. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah). Sent down in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
