Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And what ye see not, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet. Little it is that ye believe 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 Then none among you would be his saviour. 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 52

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
