The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
