Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I pray unto Allah only, and ascribe unto Him no partner. 20 Say, "Indeed, I do not possess for you [the power of] harm or right direction." 21 Say: 'From God shall protect me not anyone, and I shall find, apart from Him, no refuge, 22 Unless I convey from God and deliver His message." For those who disobey God and His Apostle is the fire of Hell, where they will abide for ever; 23 [Let them, then, wait] until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned: for then they will come to understand which [kind of man] is more helpless and counts for less! 24 Say, "I do not know if what you are promised is near or if my Lord will grant for it a [long] period." 25 He knows the unseen and He does not allow anyone to know His secrets except those of His Messengers whom He chooses. 26 He causes angelic guards to march before and after him. 27 so that He may know that the messengers have delivered the messages of their Lord. He encompasses all that is with them and He keeps count of all things. 28
