Deem those in whose hearts is a disease that Allah will never bring to light their secret malevolence? 29 And if We willed, We would surely shew them unto thee, so that thou shouldst surely know them by their marks. And thou shalt surely know them by the mode of their speech. And Allah knoweth your works. 30 And most certainly We will try you until We have known those among you who exert themselves hard, and the patient, and made your case manifest. 31 Surely, they who are bent on denying the truth and on barring [others] from the path of God, and oppose the Messenger when they have been shown guidance, cannot harm God in any way. He will cause all their deeds to come to nothing. 32 O you who have attained to faith! Pay heed unto God, and pay heed unto the Apostle, and let not your [good] deeds come to nought! 33 ۞ Those who disbelieve and bar from God's way and then die disbelieving, them God will not forgive. 34 So do not lose heart or appeal for peace when you have gained the upper hand. God is with you and will never let your works go to waste. 35 The life of the world is but a sport and a pastime. And if ye believe and ward off (evil). He will give you your wages, and will not ask of you your wordly wealth. 36 If He were to ask it [wealth] of you, and continued to press you, you would be niggardly, and this would show your ill-will. 37 Behold! You are those who are called to spend in the Cause of Allah, yet among you are some who are niggardly. And whoever is niggardly, it is only at the expense of his ownself. But Allah is Rich (Free of all wants), and you (mankind) are poor. And if you turn away (from Islam and the obedience of Allah), He will exchange you for some other people, and they will not be your likes. 38
