Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit), 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 Till a limit known? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 "Depart you to a shadow (of Hell-fire smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
