The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears will mind, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Lo!
