It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 It is God who has settled you on the earth and before Him you will all be assembled. 79 It is He who gives life, and makes to die, and to Him belongs the alternation of night and day; what, will you not understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of that which said the men of old; 81 they say: "What! After we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 82 We were already promised this, we and our forefathers. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old. 83 Say thou: whose is the earth and whosoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will quickly reply, "It belongs to God." Say, "Will you not, then, take heed?" 85 Say: "Who is (the) Lord of the seven heavens, and (the) Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87 Say: 'In whose hand is the dominion of everything, protecting and Himself unprotected, if you have knowledge?' 88 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 No, We have brought the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 All-Knower of the unseen and the seen! Exalted be He over all that they associate as partners to Him! 92
