We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
