Al-Qamar 3 of 3
And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 ARE, THEN, those of you who [now] deny the truth better than those others - or have you, perchance, [been promised] immunity in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 There shall come a Day when they will be dragged on their faces into the Fire and will be told: “Now taste the flame of Hell.” 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 Thus, indeed, did We destroy people like you [in the past]: who, then, is willing to take it to heart? 51 And everything they have done is in the writings. 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
