And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
