3/4 Hizb 18
< random >
Believers, obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not turn away from him when you are hearing. 20 And do not be like those who say: "We have heard," but do not hear. 21 ۞ The worst of creatures in the eyes of God are those who are deaf and dumb and devoid of sense. 22 And had Allah found any goodness in them, He would have made them hear; and had He made them hear they would, in the end, have turned away and gone back. 23 Believers! Respond to Allah, and respond to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. Know well that Allah stands between a man and his heart, and it is to Him that all of you shall be mustered. 24 Guard yourselves against discord among yourselves so that it will not mislead anyone of you, especially the unjust, and know that God's retribution is most severe. 25 And remember, when ye were few and reckoned feeble in the land, and were in fear lest men should extirpate you, how He gave you refuge, and strengthened you with His help, and made provision of good things for you, that haply ye might be thankful. 26 O you who have believed, do not betray Allah and the Messenger or betray your trusts while you know [the consequence]. 27 And know that your riches and your children are but a temptation, and that verily Allah: with Him is a mighty hire. 28
