The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 And man saith: what aileth her? 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
