۞ And Allah has said: Take not two gods, He is only one Allah; so of Me alone should you be afraid. 51 And whatever is in the heavens and the earth is His, and to Him should obedience be (rendered) constantly; will you then guard against other than (the punishment of) Allah? 52 Whatever bounties you have are from God. When hardship befalls you, you begin to cry out to Him. 53 When He removes your affliction then some of you set up associates to their Lord 54 So that they be ungrateful for what We have given them; then enjoy yourselves; for soon will you know 55 They give to unknown images a share out of the sustenance that We gave them. By God, you will be questioned about that which you have falsely invented. 56 And they assign daughters to Allah – Purity is to Him! – and assign for themselves what they wish. 57 And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. 58 avoiding all people because of the [alleged] evil of the glad tiding which he has received, [and debating within himself:] Shall he keep this [child] despite the contempt [which he feels for it] - or shall he bury it in the dust? Old, evil indeed is whatever they decide! 59 [Thus it is that] the attribute of evil applies to all who do not believe in the life to come - whereas unto God applies the attribute of all that is most sublime: for He alone is almighty, truly wise! 60
