Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
