So I do call to witness what ye see, 38 And what ye see not, 39 That it is surely the speech brought by messenger honourable. 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would surely have seized him by the right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 Then none among you would be his saviour. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
