In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 The living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
