Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains: 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Declare (O Muhammad SAW) unto My slaves, that truly, I am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most-Merciful. 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham 51 When they entered unto him, and said: Salaman (peace)! [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Indeed! We are afraid of you." 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They said, "We have been sent forth to a guilty people." 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
