Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And does not induce others to feed the needy. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
