The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky containing great stars 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 by a burning fire 5 when they were seated over it 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth. 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
