It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And We guard it against every accursed Shaitan, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 There is nothing except that its treasuries are with Us and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 We know the ones of you who press forward, and We know the laggards; 24 and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. 25
