(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
