No, by the moon! 32 by the retreating night, 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 a warning to mortal man 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Except those on the right side. 39 who will be in Paradise 40 About the criminals, 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, every man of them desires to be -- given -- scrolls unrolled. 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
