It is He Who has made the earth manageable for you, so traverse ye through its tracts and enjoy of the Sustenance which He furnishes: but unto Him is the Resurrection. 15 Can you ever feel secure that He who is in heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you up when, lo and behold, it begins to quake? 16 Or are you secure of those in the heaven that He should not send down upon you a punishment? Then shall you know how was My warning. 17 Those who lived before them had also rejected Our warning, and how terrible was Our retribution! 18 Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them in? None can uphold them except (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly it is He that watches over all things. 19 Who is there to defend you like an army, besides the Lord of Mercy? Those who deny the truth are in deception. 20 Or is there any that could provide you with sustenance if He should withhold His provision [from you]? Nay, but they [who are bent on denying the truth] stubbornly persist in their disdain [of God's messages] and in their headlong flight [from Him]! 21 Is he who walks without seeing on his face, more rightly guided, or he who (sees and) walks on a Straight Way (i.e. Islamic Monotheism). 22 Say: "It is He Who has created you (and made you grow), and made for you the faculties of hearing, seeing, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give. 23 Say, "It is God who has settled you on the earth and to Him you will be resurrected". 24 And they say: When shall this threat be (executed) if you are truthful? 25 Say thou: the knowledge is only with Allah, and I am but a warner manifest. 26 When they see the torment approaching, the faces of the disbelievers will blacken and they will be told, "This is what you wanted to (experience)". 27 Say: 'What think you? If God destroys me and those with me, or has mercy on us, then who will protect the unbelievers from a painful chastisement?' 28 Say: "He is (Allah) Most Gracious: We have believed in Him, and on Him have we put our trust: So, soon will ye know which (of us) it is that is in manifest error." 29 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Tell me! If (all) your water were to be sunk away, who then can supply you with flowing (spring) water?" 30
