Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But he who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his self from vain desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
