▼ 17 The Night Journey
Al-Isra 8 of 12

[but] one Day We shall summon all human beings [and judge them] according to the conscious disposition which governed their deeds [in life]: whereupon they whose record shall be placed in their right hand - it is they who will read their record [with happiness]. Yet none shall be wronged by as much as a hair's breadth: 71 And whosoever hath been in this life blind will in the Hereafter be blind, and far astray from the way. 72 They had almost led you away from what has been revealed to you, that you may invent things about Us besides those revealed, when they would have taken you as friend. 73 Indeed, had We not strengthened you, you might have inclined to them a little, 74 In that case We should have made thee taste an equal portion (of punishment) in this life, and an equal portion in death: and moreover thou wouldst have found none to help thee against Us! 75 And indeed, they were about to drive you from the land to evict you therefrom. And then [when they do], they will not remain [there] after you, except for a little. 76 (Such was Our) method in the case of those whom We sent before thee (to mankind), and thou wilt not find for Our method aught of power to change. 77
