The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 (And) vaults them over 8 In extended columns. 9

Almighty Allah's Truth.
