Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YaSeen. 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 On a straight path. 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
