Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 Aye! they marvel that there hath come unto them a warner from among themselves; so the infidels Say: this is a thing wondrous! 2 Why - [how could we be resurrected] after we have died and become mere dust? Such a return seems far-fetched indeed!" 3 We know all what the earth decreases from them; and with Us is a Book that retains. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not observed the sky above them and marked how We have built it and adorned it, leaving no flaws in it; 6 And the earth! We have spread it forth, and have cast therein firm mountains, and have caused to grow therein of every beauteous kind of plants: 7 This is a reminder and it sharpens the insight of every servant of God who turns to Him in repentance. 8 And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped, 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 Before them was denied (the Hereafter) by the People of Noah, the Companions of the Rass, the Thamud, 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
